While living on Phuket I used to help people who encountered snakes in their houses or gardens. The only venomous snake I’ve ever encountered in such a situation was a monocled cobra. At certain times of the year, I’d even risk statement it was a common situation to see juvenile cobra in someone’s garden.
After some time I’ve realized a common idea about those animals is vastly wrong and my life is to short to visit everyone on Phuket and help them understand the situation and so this movie sprouted in my head.
Some of the questions we are trying to address are:
-Is Phuket overcrowded with cobras, is it worse than the rest of Thailand?
-Are they moving into my garden?
-What do I do when I see a Cobra?
-Are they dangerous when encountered?
-Are Cobras aggressive?
One thing to point out is – there is no sensationalism in the movie. No Steve Irvin style stunts, no snake-lasso stunts. We made our best effort to base everything we show and tell you was based on verified scientific knowledge and real-life observations without showmanship. Sorry 😛
In the end, I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Benjamin and Taweechai for allowing us to film with the snake they rescued, to Diana for sharing her story and to Bartosz for… for loads of knowledge and … well… a great time 😉
