  1. So I left one of my wedges at the course and idk weather I want them to have found it or not because these wedges look amazing

  2. But is the NEW Callaway jaws, just the Mack Daddy 5? Mine is on ore order. Grooves that bite! That's what I need! 60° 8° C grind with 5 wraps.

  3. Roughly 25 years ago Taylormade cane out with a constant friction faced wedge system. As the friction surface wore off it exposed the steel layer beneath which rusted in time. You could get a shot to stop on a dime with those wedges. Glad to see Taylormade go back to the idea.

  4. Fantastic wedge…. but seeing this has given me the idea for surely what would be the daddy of all wedges…the Rusty Hi-Toe!! Do it TaylorMade!!

  5. Love your videos, especially when you are out on an actual course. While the simulator data is interesting, I think in real life conditions there is much more going on. I'd prefer you do ALL your club/ball testing outdoors.

  6. Hey Rick I am a Dad of two and I of course don’t have much time to b out in the course much at all. I do have a bit of space in my house(enough to get a full swing). What technology can I use to create an in home golf practice setup. (Easy yet accurate and affordable l golf simulator). Possibly an idea for a video?? I don’t think I’m alone in my thinking. Love the vids of yours keep it up.

  7. Good review Rick. Just bought the TM MG2 56 degree wedge. Hit some practice shots and love the feel and look of it. Cheers mate.

  8. Volkey, I was playing the Previous Milled Grind version, but they were kind of clicky so I didnt like them over time. The rusty version is interesting, since it is just the face and could be the best of both worlds with Looks and spin. I couldn’t stand the fully rusted wedges even though some of my friends had them. Just didnt look good in the bag.

  9. Come now! This is a marketing ploy. More spin More Spin with rust. Wait WTF rust you mean that stuff that makes flakes and scales and slides off with a finger touch is better than my Stainless club that all I have to do is keep debris free and I get consistent shots? Well done to the marking department for this BS! Marketing department says, make sure you clean the scaling off before using. WHAT! This is one of those times where I just walk away shaking my head thinking Really! So in 5 years your club is a pile of unusable rust so you you have to buy a new one. Cheers

  10. I've played Vokey wedges for 15 years. Have to replace them every 18 months, max. But when I saw this video, I literally went out that morning and bought two. Played that PM and these are excellent – better than Vokey plus I don't have to contend with the 1,000 combinations of loft, bounce AND grind. I'm a 6 hcp, BTW. Make it simple. WHAT's THE MAGIC FORMULA TO RUST THEM UP FAST?

  11. Rick…..about a year ago new to the market was a golf helper called acustrikegolf….did you review it or….will you take a look?

  12. Hi Rick!!! Can you please review the now famous VICE golf balls?? apparently are better than pv1 and tp5??? Please you are the master so please review this balls. Thanks mate.

  13. Great video – I've always liked the look of rust, and thought about testing. But that was a really nice way to show the effects of it. I thought we'd see a little more backspin with the rust, but that makes sense. They spend so much time on R & D I'm not sure how we could beat their numbers. Nice video !

  14. Obviously the corroded face adds sharp edges to the club. can you comment as to the effect it has on the ball and it's surface finish/ scuffs/ does it cut the ball to the point where you dont want to use it off the tee next hole???
    -Thanks

  15. I heard rusty wedge faces don’t have any benefit in spin than new wedges. But then I play Cleveland RTX-3 wedges in the raw finish that are rusted. 😝
