  1. did anyone else notice a seam on their airpods pro? for me the right earbud has a much more noticeable seam than the other and it kinda scrapes on the inner part of my ear :/

  2. I purchased these today on a bit of a whim and I am completely underwhelmed. The bass is very flat and sounds cheap even compared to airpods 2..

Is anyone else having this problem?

  3. If you don't want to pay more you end up with an inferior product. I can confirm that in this instance. AirPods Pro do so much more than the cheaper options. As far as audio quality, that's subjective. I love the sound of my AirPods.

  4. I agree with most of what you said about the bass covering a bit the treble. However, I have to add that it matters very much to what type of music you are listening. I think they are good for hip-hop, r&b and dance. For rock, metal and punk, they are really terrible and i kinda regret i bought them as this is my preferred genre. I realize that metal or punk might not be your cup of tea, but I am really curious what is your opinion. Personally I had to set my equalizer to reduce the mids a lot…. they are covering the bass. Also, imho, metal sounds even worse with noice cancellation turned on.

  5. They copy the Chinese now adding silicon tip. Won't buy any earbuds without these tips because the earbuds slips !
Bought one to try out without the silicon tips. It kept on slipping. Bought another 4 different earbuds ,all with tips. Will buy the last one with heavy bass

  6. "… one that's facing outwards and one that's facing inwards. What that's kind of doing is taking the noise from the outside and blending it in with your music trying to find a balance where it kind of gives you the illusion that you're not hearing anything on the outside."

That's the strangest explanation of active noise control I've ever heard, and makes me wonder if you know how destructive interference with out of phase generated sound and audio attenuation really works.

  7. With the volume turned halfway to 3/4 the way up I’ve been getting 5 1/2 even closer to six hours of listening time and each full charge takes about 25% of the cases battery so by my math I’m getting 22 1/2 hours after the initial 5 to 6 hours so I’m getting closer to 26 to 28 hours had them for about five days

  8. Great video. I’m wondering how better are over ear headphones (like Bose 700 or Sony 1000xm3) for noise canceling or if the difference is not that big from the AirPods Pro. I’m looking to buy one or the other.

  9. Solid review but I disagree on the price comment.

Airpods 2 with wireless charging case retail for $200. You're paying $50 extra for the new airpods which have noise cancellation AND better sound. I think that's totally fine considering the cost of wireless charging is included in the price.

I don't think the pricing on the airpods pro itself is wrong, but rather Apple's overall price scheme. With respect to the other airpods, the price of the pro's make perfect sense. Given that Apple's products in general are over priced (for a host of reasons), it reflects poorly on the quality of the product. Just my 2 cents.

  10. I hate it when someone disses a product and doesn't give recommendations or compare and talk about the best alternatives there are. Are you not confident enough in your assessment?

  11. Okay, so I went to the apple store and listened to these for a few minutes. I agree with him about the bass, its very loose and muddy, but not the highs. The highs definitely have presence, just they sound very sculpted, harsh and overall the quality of the highs is crap. Mids were okay I suppose. Overall, underwhelmed for the asking price.
