The biggest highlight of the Galaxy A80 is its display. The phone comes with any sort of significant bezels, notches or punch-hole cutouts. So the Samsung Galaxy A80 display looks absolutely immersive. The 6.7-inch display also looks absolutely sharp and crisp and it’s very delightful to view the contents on its immaculate screen. And to achieve that Samsung has implemented pop-up rotating mechanism to accommodate the camera system. That means, the rear camera flips and acts as a selfie shooter. But while comparing Samsung Galaxy A80 vs Vivo V15 Pro, the A80 looks better on the design front. And the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 has also made it quite durable than the Vivo counterpart.

And talking about the Samsung Galaxy A80 camera, the phone comes with three cameras. The primary shooter on this device uses a 48MP sensor, which comes aboard with f/2.0 lens. The secondary one gets an 8MP ultra-wide lens to accommodate more portion of the subject into the frame. A 3D TOF sensor completes its triple camera setup. With three cameras, the phone is surely versatile. And the good thing is, it can be flipped and can be used to capture wide variety of selfie images as well.

During the course of Samsung galaxy a80 camera test, I also managed to capture quite a lot of images. And the images had great amount of details in them and colors also looks absolutely pleasing. We also performed Samsung Galaxy A80 vs S10 Plus comparison, and the results were more or less the same. Personally, I liked the shots from the A80 more. Since the phone uses the same cameras for the selfies, images from the Samsung Galaxy A80 front camera were also absolutely pleasing. You will definitely fall in love with its cameras. The phone, however, has an under-display fingerprint scanner, which by the way is better than A70 if you do side by side Samsung Galaxy A70 vs A80 comparison.

But sadly, there is no flipping camera panorama shots like that on the Asus Zenfone 6. Other than that, the A80 is better in almost all the camera aspects in the head-to-head test between Samsung Galaxy A80 vs Zenfone 6.

Continuing with the Samsung Galaxy A80 specs, let’s talk about the performance now. The phone comes aboard with Snapdragon 730 chipset, which is aided with 8GB of RAM. On the storage front, A80 flaunts 128GB of onboard memory. However, there is no SD card slot to expand storage any further. There is no headphone jack either, which is quite a bummer if you are an audiophile.

As far as the Samsung Galaxy A80 battery life is concerned, the phone does well with its 3700mAh battery. Given the efficient 8nm chip and the Super AMOLED display, you can expect one complete day of backup on the normal use. The phone also comes with 25-watt charger on the box. If you are concerned about the Samsung Galaxy A80 charging time, there is nothing to worry since the device takes merely 1 hour to get its battery fully replenished.

  30. Good, honest review. Doesn't look like it justifies the price tag. Wanted to know about the call quality since it does not use a traditional call speaker.
